what is the maintaince for VAYUPURE , do i need to replace filter -

The VayuPure Air Purifier filters out the pollutants by using filters. The Filters do have life time which depends on the type of the filter, operationg hours and indoor air quality. In general you need to replace filters between 1-3 years. Futhermore it is recommended to clean the pre filter over time.

what is particulate matter (pm)? -

Particles smaller than 2.5 micrometers (PM 2.5) can penetrate and settle in the deepest areas of the lungs and cause health problems. A study published in the Journal of the Indian Medical Association indicates that high PM 2.5 exposure also leads to high plaque deposits in arteries, causing vascular inflammation and atherosclerosis — a hardening of the arteries that can lead to heart attacks and other cardiovascular problems. There has been much news coverage in India about PM 2.5 levels. A recent study demonstrated that high PM 2.5 levels in several big Indian cities led to an increase in mortality rates by several percentage points.
The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that “fine particulate air pollution (PM 2.5) causes about 3% of mortality from cardiopulmonary disease, about 5% of mortality from cancer of the trachea, bronchus, and lung, and about 1% of mortality from acute respiratory infections in children under 5 years, worldwide. Experts show that improving PM 2.5 levels in the largest Indian cities of Delhi, Banglore, Calcuta and Mumbai to the safe levels suggested by the WHO Air Quality Guideline would reduce death rates by between 3.7% and 9.2%.

 

How do i know if the indoor air quality has improved? -

We deliver Brand new air purifiers which are defect free. Each VayuPure air purifier is covered with 2 years warranty. In case such problem arises because of manufacturing defect, we will replace the product free of cost.

Can VAYUPURE remove smoke & harmful gases -

Yes. Our filters are specifically designed for environments with tobacco smoke, auto exhaust, chemical fumes, odors, and harmful VOCs. My unit has suddenly turned off & won't start again ,is there something i can do to fix -

If you are having trouble getting your unit to Turn ON, first try the plug on the bottom of the unit. Most of our units have detachable plugs that may slip out occasionally. If the unit or cord has moved while cleaning, check the cord by gently placing your unit on its side, remove the plug and re-plug it in with a push. If that doesn't work, call our customer service.
